Inauguration is a noun that means the beginning, or introduction of a new system or policy.  Though each presidential inauguration ushers in new policies the American System-Representative Democracy-remains the same.  That is a good thing with high concepts of Unity, Freedom, Equality, Law and Order and that No One is Above the Law.  Aspirations all, but striving for a more Perfect Union is the unreachable goal.  Only unreachable because no Union is Perfect, but the goal is admirable and  everlasting.  The first Inauguration I remember was President Kennedy’s in 1961.  His speech is still quoted today.  His delivery cannot be duplicated.  His words were uplifting and inspirational even for a 10 year old. Words have meaning and words can make a difference.  Let’s work hard and strive for a more Perfect Union!
